Vito Cassisi

Vito is a founding director of Cassisi Architects and has played a crucial role in the firm's growth since its establishment in 1969. Vito brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. He has worked on a large diverse range of projects during his life and has a passion for materials and building technology.

Vito has also contributed to the field of architecture through his roles as a part-time lecturer at RMIT University and as a monitor of the NprA - Architects Accreditation Council of Australia. He has been appointed to the State and National Schools of Architecture review panel, representing the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia and has been an examiner for the Architects Registration Board of Victoria.

Currently a fellow of RAIA.

Vito was also awarded Cavaliere Nell Ordine ‘Al Merito della Repubblica Italiana and a Centenary Medal by the Australian Government for all services multicultural Italians.


Loretta Cassisi

Director

Loretta is a director and principal architect of the company. Loretta studied architecture at RMIT University and received her degree with Honours in 2002 and obtained her registration in 2009. Loretta has local and international experience having worked also in Milan. While abroad she worked on large scale urban projects, shopping centres, cinema complexes, mixed –use developments, luxury resorts and urban scale projects. After relocating to Melbourne she obtained experience working on high end residential project, multiply unit developments, mixed-use developments, commercial, community, hospitality & aged care.

Loretta oversees all projects in the office with her passion for detail in design. Loretta has a wide range of knowledge on different types of project types, sizes, complexities and budgets, specializing in seeing projects from conception to completion.

In addition to her work in architecture, Loretta is an examiner on the Architects Registration Board of Victoria. Loretta is also a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
