Our team was engaged to deliver the interior fitout of the Orthosport Victoria Institute, a two-storey, state-of-the-art Medical Rehabilitation, Consulting, and Research Centre housed within a carefully restored heritage building. The project involved reimagining the existing structure to create a contemporary, high-performance environment while honouring its architectural history.
With meticulous attention to detail, we designed seamlessly integrated spaces that promote both healing and innovation. The completed facility features an expansive gym, a specialised rehabilitation centre, modern consulting rooms, and a research hub developed in collaboration with the Australian Catholic University (ACU). A new glass lift was also installed, enhancing accessibility while providing a striking modern contrast within the heritage fabric.
Innovative features include the installation of an Insitu Force Plate, which accurately gauges pressure on patients' joints during rehabilitation.
The result is a sophisticated and functional workplace that celebrates the building’s character while supporting cutting-edge medical research and care.
